We will sample four wines from this winery - Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and a Cab/Merlot blend. New Zealand consists of two islands with a diverse climate suitable to many growing styles. Because of this, they produce a variety of wonderful wines with a distinct New Zealand personality. While still representing the varietal well, the Riesling is not the sweet syrup from Germany and the Sauvignon Blanc has its own unique characteristic along with their Pinot Noir and Cab/Merlot blend.
